"My daughter is extremely grateful for Speech Waves and their teaching style. My daughter was a semester behind and failing Geometry when we found Speech Waves. By the end of the semester, her confidence had grown and she received her first “A” on a math exam. I saw a complete change in her attitude towards math and she was excited on her days she would tutor with Evita. Evita was personable and built a connection with my daughter to the point that she was excited when she received her test grades to tell Evita about her results. Speech Waves forever changed my daughter math skills for the better and impacted her confidence in school."
"Evita is an exceptional Speech-Language Pathologist who consistently demonstrates professionalism, preparation, and deep care for her students. She worked with a wide range of students, from those in general education settings to students with moderate to severe disabilities, including some of our most impacted learners. She ran IEP meetings with the confidence and competence of a seasoned professional. Her ability to clearly communicate goals, progress, and supports not only helped build trust with staff but also eased anxiety for parents, especially during challenging meetings."
"Speech Waves implements multiple forms of communication throughout their lessons and are very intentional in the implementation of strategies. These strategies include the use of high tech, mid tech, and low tech AAC devices, sign language, verbal communication, visual cues, visuals, and pairing all these forms of communication to help each student be successful. It is evident when working with Evita that she has such a passion for teaching, and that she deeply cares about her students and their needs."
